Once you have been selected and commit to the expedition, you are required to pay the entry fee / security deposit of R 25 000 which will be used only in case of an emergency (airlift / rescue after accident etc) during the expedition and is not refundable should you not be part of the expedition for whatever reason.

After the successful completion of the expedition, the remainder of the security deposit / entry fee is donated to a worthy cause for needy children in Africa.

Our aim is to finance the whole expedition through sponsors and are very positive to provide not only the vehicles but also all expenses during the trip.

However, if there are any shortfalls from sponsor contributions, we will discuss these in detail during the "workshop" mentioned above.

Please note: Your travel costs to attend the selection "workshop" will be at your own expense. However, accommodation, meals and other fees for the camping trip are provided by Africa Adventure, 113 Robberg and other sponsors.

This will also apply to all your travel / flight arrangements at the start and end of the expedition.
